📅 Sat, Sep 26, 2026 - Sun, Sep 27, 2026
About this event
This event celebrates the full reopening of the Nagakute Cultural Center (Nagakute City Bunka no Ie), including its halls and restaurant, after completing one year of renovation work. Over two days on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026, events overflowing with 'cultural blessings' featuring art, music, and food will take place mainly in the center's public spaces. At the ART SHOP, organized in collaboration with Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, ceramic works, paintings, and more by current students and alumni will be on sale. In addition, a market titled 'Harvest Day Art and the Table' will be held in the 1st floor public space, featuring approximately 25 stalls themed around a harvest festival. Along with general merchandise, artwork, and lifestyle goods, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of food and drinks including rice balls (onigiri), bento boxes, Asian food, curry, baked goods, coffee, Japanese tea, and craft beer. Admission to the overall event is free, but merchandise purchases and food/drinks require separate payment. Payment at the ART SHOP is cash only. On the same days, paid concerts, symposiums, and percussion recitals will be held in venues such as the Forest Hall, but these require separate ticketing distinct from the marche area. With workshops and exhibitions also planned, it will be a lively two days celebrating the fresh start of the cultural center.
