SunPatiens Festival

About this event

SunPatiens, reaching their best viewing time from summer to autumn, are plants that bloom with bright flowers in succession in colors such as red, pink, and white. At Chausuyama Kogen in Toyone Village, Aichi Prefecture, you can enjoy approximately 20,000 SunPatiens plants coloring the slopes of Mt. Hagitaro. While riding the sightseeing lift, you can look down at the SunPatiens planted on the slope below the lift, enjoying the beautiful scenery in the cool highlands. In addition, Toyone Cultural Festival 2026 will be held concurrently with the Chausuyama Kogen SunPatiens Festival. At the cultural festival, cultural work exhibits such as pottery, calligraphy, and handicraft works, as well as stage events, will take place. The cultural work exhibition will be held from Saturday, September 19, 2026, to Wednesday (national holiday), September 23, from 9:00 to 16:30 on the 2nd floor of Chausuyama Kogen Restaurant Yahazu, and the stage events will take place on Monday (national holiday), September 21, 2026, from 12:00 at the special stage on the Chausuyama Kogen slope.
