📅 Sat, Jul 18, 2026 - Sun, Aug 30, 2026
About this event
A special project supporting elementary and junior high school students during their summer vacation will be held at the Matsuura Takeshiro Memorial Museum and Birthplace. During the period, a riddle-solving quiz rally titled "A Challenge from Take-chan" will take place, where participants search for quiz answers within the exhibition rooms, and a commemorative gift will be awarded to those who answer all questions correctly. Ideal for summer vacation independent study, this challenge can be attempted as many times as desired. Additionally, under the title "Supporting Your Independent Research!", photography is permitted freely inside the memorial museum and birthplace, and reference books are available. Up to 10 photocopies are provided free of charge, and visitors can ask questions about Takeshiro Matsuura if a curator is present. Furthermore, under the title "Let's Draw Matsuura Takeshiro's Birthplace!", the detached tatami room of the birthplace will be opened as a workspace with free drawing paper provided. Completed drawings can be entered into the Matsusaka City Landscape Painting Contest. Admission is required to tour the exhibition rooms, but using the hall area only is free. Admission to the birthplace is free for those aged 18 and under.
