16th Matsusaka Guitar Music Festival

The classical guitar music festival "16th Matsusaka Guitar Music Festival" will be held across two venues in Matsusaka City. On the first day, August 29, at the Nogyoya Community Cultural Center, a diverse program will unfold, including student ensemble contests, amateur solo performances, and a recital by the guitar club of local Matsusaka Commercial High School. Food trucks will also be present, making it an event where everyone from children to adults can enjoy the sounds of the guitar all day long. On the second day, August 30, at Kuragi Cultural Hall, the festival reaches its finale with performances by national competition award-winning students, a guest appearance adding color by the skilled group "UnisOno" invited from Kanagawa Prefecture, and a grand performance of over 120 players by the "Matsusaka Citizen Guitar Orchestra" along with various ensembles. Food trucks will also be on-site on this day, offering an experience where visitors can fully immerse themselves in music all day.
