Set in Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, 'Fuji Giken Presents Inabe Velo Festa 2026' is a long-ride challenge where participants tour checkpoints positioned throughout Inabe City to collect stamps. While the total course distance is set at approximately 75 km, participants are free to choose their own route according to their physical strength and skill level. At designated aid stations, riders can savor delicious local food from Inabe while enjoying their own unique course. After reaching the goal, all participants will receive an original head spacer manufactured by Fuji Giken as a participation prize. A checkpoint completion prize (lottery) is also prepared, making it a cycling event where riders can cycle freely under relaxed rules. There is no fixed course, and there is no need to complete the entire distance, so there is no sweeper van to collect slower riders. In the spirit of Share the Road, participants are asked to ride safely without forgetting consideration for local residents. At aid stations, special menu items provided by pastry shops and eateries can also be tasted, making it an event where visitors can fully savor the gastronomy of Inabe. Even without conquering all checkpoints, anyone can casually take on the challenge based on their stamina and level, allowing families, groups, and individuals to enjoy cycling at their own pace.
