Eligibility is open to healthy individuals from elementary school age up to under 70 years old who possess the physical stamina to walk mountain trails on their own for about 5 to 6 hours and wish to enjoy hiking. The participation fee is 5,000 yen (tax included), which includes insurance, lunch, ropeway fare, and more. Capacity is limited to the first 30 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis with advance registration required. Participation perks include a meal voucher for the observation restaurant 'Nature' at Gozaisho Ropeway, a one-way downhill ticket for Gozaisho Ropeway, and a day-trip bath ticket for Hotel Yunomoto.
