At "VISON," a food and wellness resort in Taki Town, Mie Prefecture, the second edition of the special collaboration event "The Most Delicious Relationship Between FRUITree and Sweets" by world-renowned pastry chef Hironobu Tsujiguchi and popular gardening YouTuber Carmen-kun will be held. This time, themed around the rare luxury fruit "finger lime," the event allows participants to experience the joy of fruit trees from cultivation to becoming sweets. Finger limes, with granular flesh like caviar, feature a unique texture that pops in the mouth and a refreshing aroma, also earning them the nickname "forest caviar." Welcoming Toyomi Nakahira, representative of Finger Lime Japan, as a special guest, Carmen-kun and Chef Tsujiguchi will join together to explain from professional perspectives everything from home growing methods to culinary appeal and how to utilize them in sweets. On the day, three types of finger lime sweets supervised by Chef Tsujiguchi (baked confectionery, petit gateau, mini parfait) will be served, allowing guests to savor this profound world. In addition, finger lime saplings will be on sale, leading to the joy of growing fruit trees at home even after the event. It will be a special day of new discoveries for both plant lovers and sweets lovers.
