Held at the Symbol Plaza of the Ritto Arts and Culture Hall Sakira in Ritto City, Shiga Prefecture, "Ritto Nigiwai Matsuri" is one of the region's largest events that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to adults. Mobile amusement attractions such as inflatable bounce houses and a cardboard maze will appear at the venue, bringing smiles to children's faces. In addition, there are extensive festival game stalls (ennichi) and workshop corners offering a wide variety of hands-on experiences. Street performances will also enliven the venue. Furthermore, numerous flea markets, handmade craft markets, and food trucks will be set up, allowing visitors to hunt for bargains, purchase original handmade goods, and savor delicious gourmet food. In particular, the "Kids Flea Market," where children can experience running their own shop stalls, is a popular feature. Excellent accessibility—just a short walk from JR Ritto Station—is another appeal, and a paid parking lot accommodating 1,102 vehicles is conveniently available nearby.
