Fukuchiyama Illumiright 2026 is a night event of light and sound held around Fukuchiyama Castle Park. Spanning two days on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2026, visitors can enjoy magical illuminations and the sight of the city of Fukuchiyama wrapped in light. Also marking the 40th anniversary of the reconstruction of Fukuchiyama Castle, this year's highlight is a projection mapping show of approximately 100 meters in total length projected onto the stone walls of Fukuchiyama Castle for the first time. In addition, diverse contents are prepared, such as a yokai haunted house, floating lantern ceremony, dance and calligraphy performances, and a food area. A digital stamp rally where participants tour the town to collect "shards of light" will also be held, offering a special night experience in Fukuchiyama with family and friends. Illuminations start at 17:00, and admission is free.
