At TANGO OPEN CENTER in Omiya-cho, Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture, the "Tango Culture and Arts Award-Winning Works Exhibition - Tango Art & Culture Fest 2026" will take place. This event features a special exhibition of past award-winning works from the "Tango Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition," the largest art exhibition in the northern region. It is a rare opportunity to appreciate up close diverse art forms Tango is proud of, including Western-style paintings, Japanese-style paintings, photography, and Noh masks. Furthermore, concurrent Silver Week events will feature various programs such as workshops for tsumami zaiku (pinched silk craft) and original keychain making, dance performances, a sencha green tea salon, ocarina performances, and food truck stalls.
