Held in Mikanohara, Kizugawa City, Kyoto Prefecture, as a replacement for the resident-led art festival "Mikanoharato," the "Mikanohara Independants Exhibition" is an art exhibition based on the principles of "freedom, no jury, and no prizes," where exhibitors bring and install their works themselves. Together with the beautiful scenery of Mikanohara, you can encounter diverse forms of expression. It is a new arena of challenge where both exhibitors and viewers can experience a way of engaging with art that feels comfortable to them.
