Machinaka Art Fest 2026

About this event

This is an event where you can casually enjoy various arts of your choice, such as painting, music, calligraphy, crafts, and dance, throughout the city of Izumiotsu. It is scheduled to be held in November 2026 as well. Phi (Izumiotsu) Gallery is accepting submissions across a wide range of genres, from paintings and calligraphy to digital works, welcoming first-time exhibitors. Recommended categories are "Free Creation," "Free Creation (Digital)," and "Independants Exhibition." Artwork submissions are open across all 11 categories. In addition, the "Izumiotsu Dance Collection" is looking for performers for dance programs where everyday life becomes a stage, open to participants from students to adults, kids, and seniors. Visitors can also enjoy the attraction event "Complete Copy Dance Battle!" Furthermore, in front of Izumiotsu Station, "Street Live" performances welcoming participants in a wide range of musical genres—including choruses, instrumentals, and acoustic guitar/singing—will be held to liven up the art festival with music.
