About this event
Held at Ama Site Park in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture, "Ama Yayoi Moon Viewing Gathering" is a civic gathering where visitors can touch upon local traditional culture and performing arts while feeling the romance of the Yayoi period on a long autumn night. The event consists of three parts: Part 1 provides a community exchange space open to anyone. Part 2 hosts "Evening of Learning and Play: Children's Exchange" featuring picture-story shows (kamishibai) and shadow puppets for children (first 90 arrivals on the day). Part 3 presents a traditional culture and performing arts gathering alongside viewing the harvest moon, and a mini astronomical observation session will also be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Sales of light meals by night stalls and food trucks, moon-viewing dumplings (tsukimi dango), and drinks are also planned, making it an event where you can fully enjoy an autumn night with family and friends.
