At Hirakata T-SITE in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, 'Hirakata Yarn Fair vol. 8' will be held from Thursday, October 1 to Thursday, October 29, 2026. At this event, 7 groups of artisans and brands producing unique yarns—such as industrial yarn, handspun yarn, hand-dyed yarn, and novelty yarn—will gather. Centered around yarn ideal for autumn and winter knitting, a variety of yarns that spark creative ideas will be introduced. Exhibitors include 'ITORICOT', which finds new value in discarded yarn; 'sakururu*yarn', which creates original blended yarns; 'Yaoskep yarn', which develops hand-dyed yarns reflecting landscapes; 'tiny...', which crafts warm handspun yarns; 'tarte tatin yarns', which makes hand-dyed wool inspired by nature and daily life; 'Umemura Martina Kesennuma FS Atelier Co., Ltd.', which presents 'Opal Yarn' featuring naturally emerging beautiful patterns; and 'Maricho Handicraft Shop', known for its vibrant use of colors. Beyond knitting, visitors can enjoy choosing yarn while imagining various everyday uses such as weaving, wrapping, and decorating, experiencing moments that inspire creativity.
