About this event
"Jinaimachi Waraku" is an autumn festival held in Tondabayashi Jinaimachi. Based on the concepts of "Wa" (harmony/Japanese tradition) and "Raku" (enjoyment), visitors can enjoy traditional culture that enhances the autumn atmosphere of Jinaimachi. The event features various programs themed around "Sound," "Tea," and "Flowers." In the jazz live performance, "Leo x Leo featuring Satoshi Nishikawa," which received rave reviews for its overwhelming quality, will appear to perform mature jazz. In the tea ceremony section, there will be an open-air Nodate tea gathering where guests can enjoy a tea preparation demonstration and talk by an Omotesenke professor, along with casual matcha and Japanese sweets. In the flower arrangement workshop, participants can create their own original pieces under the guidance of the Tondabayashi City Kado Federation. In addition, an ikebana exhibition themed "Jinaimachi Autumn Scenery" by the Tondabayashi City Kado Federation will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy floral art alongside the charming historic townscape. This event offers an excellent opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture while taking a leisurely stroll through a special scenery available for one night only.
