About this event
At the "Mint-scented Western-style Daifuku Making Workshop" held at the Osaka Prefectural Center for Floral Culture, you can harvest fresh mint grown on-site and experience making Western-style daifuku using it. You will choose and harvest your favorite mint from several aromatic varieties such as apple mint and pineapple mint, and proceed with daifuku making while enjoying its fragrance. The filling is sweet red bean paste, and you can taste a moderately sweet Japanese-Western fusion daifuku accented by the refreshing flavor of mint. The daifuku you make can be enjoyed either for dine-in or takeout. Since one set makes 4 to 6 daifuku, it is ideal for enjoying with family or friends. Please check in advance as items such as aprons and towels may be required. The event will be held rain or shine, so you can participate regardless of the weather.
