Kandahata District Cool-Breeze Bon Odori Festival

An annual summer event held at Tatsuta Kodo Satoyama Park in the mountainous area of Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture. In the open plaza of the satoyama surrounded by rich nature, a yagura tower is assembled and local residents form circles to dance, creating a simple and heartwarming Bon Odori festival. Despite being relatively close to Osaka City, it provides a valuable opportunity to experience the classic ambiance of traditional Bon Odori in a quiet mountain village setting. Visitors can also enjoy the experience alongside nature activities unique to the satoyama park, which features a campsite and barbecue area. The festival has long been held as a summer event that deepens bonds within the local community.
