About this event
Held at the Kadoma Civic Plaza, 'The 13th Kadoma Lifelong Learning Festival' is a grand stage for civic groups that engage in activities with ingenuity and creativity. Structured around three themes—'Exhibition,' 'Stage Performance,' and 'Hands-on Experience'—it is an event packed with things to see, hear, and try. In the exhibition, works imbued with the creators' passions, such as hand knitting, ceramics, and paintings, will be displayed. On the stage, the results of regular activities including musical performances, choir, dance, and shigin (poetry chanting) will be presented. The hands-on program offers 8 diverse programs including Sports Wellness Fukiya (blowgun), Tai Chi, electric pottery wheel experience, cloisonne enamel (shippo-yaki), Hawaiian Hula, sanshin experience, yoga, and Mini Light Molkky®, with most requiring advance registration. Additionally, on the same day, the handmade market 'Kadoma-mon Ichi,' which brings together Kadoma's specialty products, and the youth-organized 'TB Festival 2026' will also be held, further livening up the local community.
