About this event
This is an agriculture festival where you can purchase Settsu City's specialty Torikai eggplants and fresh vegetables from local farmers within the city. The annually popular pickled Torikai eggplants will also be on sale. Many food stalls will be set up offering freshly pounded mochi zenzai and more. Kyotango City, Shima City, Shin'onsen Town, and Chizu Town will also participate with stalls offering specialties such as tekone-zushi, Ise spiny lobster, and Matsuba crab. The customary agricultural produce contest will also be held, with exhibited vegetables sold on the spot.
