2026 Silver Human Resources Center Festival

About this event

The "2026 Silver Human Resources Center Festival," jointly organized by Silver Human Resources Centers in the Hokusetsu region including Settsu City Silver Human Resources Center, will be held at Meiwaike Park. Admission is free, and the event will proceed rain or shine. On the day, there will be food and drink booths serving fried bread, yakisoba, and other items, game corners featuring super ball scooping and kick targets, and hands-on corners such as firewood splitting and marshmallow roasting. There are also plans for kids to wear firefighting gear and take photos with a fire truck, as well as a mobile sweet sales booth from Hankyu Department Store. On stage, performances will include the recorder club, Hermann harp, Japanese drum Wadaiko Seppu, comedy & magic show "Public Interest (Kokyo no Rieki)," Settsu City Silver Health Gymnastics, and kids' dance. The mascot character "Seppii" is also scheduled to appear at the opening and closing ceremonies. At the end of the stage program, a rock-paper-scissors tournament will be held with chances to win original goods provided by Coca-Cola, offering fun until the very end. This event brings together a wide range of generations, providing not only an opportunity for seniors to contribute to the local community, but also a space where children can feel the support of their community.
