About this event
Held in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Fujiidera attaining municipal status, the "Fujiidera Citizens Festival 2026 Big Jump Rope Competition" is an event aimed at promoting health and fostering interaction among local residents. Participation is open to elementary school students and older who live, work, or attend school in the city, and mixed teams of elementary school students and adults are also welcome. Teams consist of 2 rope turners and 5 to 10 jumpers. The winning team will receive a 30,000 yen QUO card, and prizes are also prepared for the runner-up and 3rd place teams. Participation prizes will be given to all participants, making it an event where people can enjoy simply taking part in addition to competing. The competition will be held in the Main Hall of Purple Hall with an entry fee of 300 yen per team, offering a great opportunity to remedy daily lack of exercise and deepen bonds with family and friends. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9:00 AM on Friday, September 4, and require submitting the completed application form with the entry fee at the counter.
