Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra Higashiosaka Special Concert

The annual summer special concert by Sachio Fujioka and the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra will be held at the Higashiosaka City Cultural Creation Center Dream House Main Hall. Featuring up-and-coming pianist Kentaro Hashimoto, a native of Higashiosaka City, as the soloist, the performance will be graced by a choir of over 100 students from Osaka Prefectural Yuhigaoka High School's Music Department. The concert will be conducted by Sachio Fujioka, Principal Conductor and Music Director of the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra. The scheduled repertoire includes Ola Gjeilo's "Sunrise Mass" (excerpts), Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," and Mussorgsky's suite "Pictures at an Exhibition" (orchestrated by Ravel). Delivered with an unprecedentedly large-scale ensemble, this concert offers a magnificent musical experience.
