About this event
Marking 50 years since the opening of the town, the '6th Sayama New Town Charm Discovery Festa' will be held to discover the charm of the lush, friendly Sayama New Town and to provide an opportunity to foster a new community across generations and backgrounds. On the day, 'Saya Marche' will take place, featuring sales of general goods, hands-on activities, workshops, and food and drinks. In addition, the 'Riddle Solving x Litter Cleanup Game 2026' will have teams gather trash to compete for points while touring rally points across Sayama New Town. Prizes will be awarded according to rankings, and participants can join either individually or in groups. Furthermore, the 'Sayama New Town Charm Discovery Photo Contest 2026' will also be held, seeking photos capturing the seasonal charms and facilities of Sayama New Town. Award winners are scheduled to be honored on stage on the day of the festa. As there is no parking available for event participants at the venue, the use of public transportation is recommended.
