Held in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, the 'Himeji Port Fureai Festival' is an event aimed at sharing the importance of Himeji Port and the appeal of the sea, while providing a stage for various community organizations to present their activities. At the venue, a 'Marine Festa' featuring public openings of a Japan Self-Defense Forces transport vessel and a Japan Coast Guard patrol vessel will take place. In addition, the 'Fureai Port Stage' will feature performances by local idols and community groups. In the 'Minato Fureai Square,' booths will sell Chu-Harima special products and local gourmet foods, along with exhibitions and hands-on corners related to the region and history. Furthermore, as a sports event, a baseball clinic by players belonging to the Himeji Egreters will be held. Other planned activities include the Silver Carriage Road (Gin no Bashado) Walk and interactions with official mascot characters, offering a day to experience the port's charm from diverse angles.
