About this event
This event aims to provide a place for child-rearing families to gather and interact, prevent the isolation of child-rearing households, promote the city's child-rearing support policies, and foster momentum for creating a society friendly to children and child-rearing. Booths by children's halls and child-rearing ambassadors, a fire and disaster prevention booth where visitors can ride fire engines and ambulances, and student booths by Ako High School and Kansai University of Social Welfare are planned. A free giveaway of children's items and a food drive will also be conducted. Visitors can also enjoy food trucks, a squeeze toy making experience, autumn photo spots, a foster parent system awareness booth, and a PR booth for reserved municipal land. In addition, picture book storytelling by active midwives and child-rearing consultations by professionals will be held. Hands-on content is abundant, such as a corner where you can take home outgrown children's clothing and picture books for free, ride-along experiences in fire engines and ambulances, firefighter uniform try-ons, and Disaster Prevention Duck activities. There is also an exercise circuit divided into sections for parents with children up to lower elementary grades and children in middle elementary grades and above.
