About this event
The Moon Viewing Tea Ceremony, held at Ono City Kokokan Museum, is an event where visitors can enjoy matcha green tea while admiring the full moon shining in the night sky. In the Ryufuen garden, the moon-viewing pavilion of Kokokan located on the former grounds of the Ono Domain encampment office, guests can spend a magical evening. In addition, performances of koto (Japanese zither) and shakuhachi (bamboo flute) by the Sankyoku Association can be enjoyed, allowing you to appreciate the harvest moon with all five senses. Kokokan's Night Museum is also held concurrently, offering the special perk of free admission during nighttime hours.
