About this event

Held at Godaikaku in Abe Monju-in Temple, the "Autumn Tea Gathering" is an authentic tea ceremony experience hosted by Chisui-kai. On this occasion, while feeling the atmosphere of the ancient capital of Nara, you can calm your mind in a serene space and connect with the profound world of tea. Same-day registration is also available, making it easy to drop by and experience the traditional Japanese culture of the tea ceremony (chado). At the venue, you can also view the main hall enshrining the National Treasure Monju Bosatsu (Manjusri), as well as the Golden Floating Pavilion (Kinkaku Ukimido) where statues of Lord Abe no Nakamaro and Lord Abe no Seimei are enshrined. Please spend a tranquil moment in autumn Nara.
