20th Municipal Anniversary Commemorative Iwade Summer Festival

Held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the municipal organization of Iwade City, the "Iwade Summer Festival" will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Omiya Ryokuchi General Athletic Park (Kinokawa Riverbed). The event runs from 4:00 PM to around 8:10 PM, with fireworks scheduled to launch from around 7:45 PM. In case of rain, it will be postponed to the following day, Sunday, August 30. Coming to the venue via the dedicated free summer festival shuttle bus, public transportation, bicycle, or walking is recommended. Parking at neighboring commercial stores and facilities is prohibited. As congestion is expected around the venue, please follow the instructions of staff, and take particular care if accompanied by children or elderly individuals. Entering restricted areas is strictly prohibited due to danger. To protect the artificial turf, eating and drinking in the viewing area is discouraged. Please cooperate with waste sorting by disposing of trash in designated trash cans or taking it home with you. As a precaution against heat stroke, frequent hydration and sun protection are also encouraged. Event details and transportation access are currently being finalized, and applications for message fireworks participants as well as requests for donations and sponsorships are being accepted.
