About this event
The Yonago City Art Exhibition (Shiten) is an open-call exhibition aimed at contributing to the promotion of fine arts by widely inviting art submissions from citizens and providing opportunities for presentation and appreciation. Seven categories are established: Western painting, Japanese-style painting, calligraphy, photography, crafts, sculpture, and design. Outstanding works selected from the general submissions are awarded the City Exhibition Prize and Encouragement Prize. Eligible applicants include individuals who live, work, or attend school (high school students and older) in Yonago City. Submission delivery will take place at the Yonago City Museum of Art on Sunday, September 6, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The submission fee is 1,000 yen per piece per category, but is free for high school students or those aged 18 and under. Due to air conditioning construction, this exhibition is held at a different time than usual.
