The "Shimane Jet Fest Yamata-no-Orochi Rising 2026," held in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, is an outdoor rock festival organized by Guitar Wolf. Set in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, the hometown of Seiji from Guitar Wolf, which is celebrating its 39th anniversary since forming, the event generates a frenzy fusing antiquity with explosive sound, and mythology with jet rock. First held in 2017 as part of Guitar Wolf's 30th anniversary project, it has been centered around Matsue, Shimane, and this marks its 10th edition. The venue is Shimane Prefectural Mound Hill Kososhi Park, held on October 10, 2026. The lineup features a diverse array of artists, including Guitar Wolf, Marikofun, Otoboke Beaver, New Rote'ka, and more. In addition, an after-party is scheduled for the next day, October 11, at Matsue AZTiC canova in Shimane. This festival is held to create an excitement found only here and make every participant's heart turn jet.
