About this event
The "Kinnyamonya Festival 26" is an event held under its restored original name "Kinnyamonya Festival" by a newly formed executive committee consisting of Ama Town Office, Oki-no-Kuni Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ama Town Tourism Association. Originating from the "Kinnyamonya Festival" held for 25 years by the Oki-no-Kuni Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this festival evolved from what the Ama Town Office subsequently carried on as the "Ama Town Grand Thanksgiving Festival". While cherishing past progress, it aims to develop into an even more appealing festival under new cooperation. Striving to serve as a venue for exchange connecting to the future through folk songs, applications are open for the parade, food stalls, and stage performances. On the day, an opening ceremony, food and drink booth operations, stage programs, Kinnyamonya Dance Parade, closing ceremony, fireworks display, and after-party stage programs are scheduled. In particular, the Kinnyamonya Dance Parade offers an opportunity for all participants—including district groups, workplaces, and friends—to liven up the festival together. Additionally, the after-party stage is inviting performances themed around "End of Summer, Beginning of Autumn" that incorporate the island's night breeze and scenery.
