'Yocchare Night' is a summer tradition held throughout the Prefectural Road area in front of Kasaoka City Hall. Various groups in the city showcase dances in diverse costumes. On the day, the area along the Prefectural Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from 13:00 to 24:00 for the event. Applications are also open for hand-dancing groups to participate, requiring 10 or more people per group and a participation fee of 300 yen per person. The application deadline is Monday, July 13, 2026 (Reiwa 8).
