Hinase Lantern Night Market 2026

Held at the JR Hinase Station Front Plaza in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, "Hinase Lantern Night Market 2026" is a magical event coloring the night sky of Hinase. At 19:30 after dusk, 200 sky lanterns will be released into the night sky all at once, filling it with warm light. At the venue, a wide variety of activities enjoyable for children and adults alike are planned, including the "Hinase Bon Odori" revived after approximately 30 years, Hinase Jinkuro Taiko drum performances, a corridor of light created by 100 Bizen ware lampshades, food stalls and kitchen cars using local ingredients, festival game booths, and balloon art. It will be a special night fusing the light of sky lanterns with the unique culture and lively atmosphere of Hinase, allowing visitors to create irreplaceable memories with family, friends, and loved ones. The LED lanterns are environmentally conscious in design and can be safely retrieved.
