The 21st Umiyama Market, an autumn market event to enjoy local food and living, will be held. Seasonal vegetables, rice, and processed goods harvested locally will be gathered, with local producers and shops setting up booths so visitors can enjoy carefully crafted foods, snacks, and handmade craft goods. One of the themes for this edition is "Tsurumi Eggplant," a traditional vegetable handed down in the Maiumi district of Bizen City. A "Tsurumi Eggplant Seed Harvesting Experience" is also planned, allowing visitors to engage with the locally preserved food culture. At the venue, in addition to meals, sweets, and drinks made with local ingredients, there will be woodworking workshops, slime making, and play corners for children. Furthermore, a food bank and picture book exchange will be held, making it a recommended event for family outings as well as anyone wishing to experience local delicacies, craftsmanship, and an enriched lifestyle.
