About this event
Held in Wake Town, Okayama Prefecture, the "42nd Apple Festival" is a festival where visitors can enjoy apple picking and a variety of events across the Miho Plateau Sports & Resort area. In the vast orchard at an altitude of 400m, approximately 900 apple trees of 12 varieties are cultivated, allowing visitors to savor autumnal flavors. The event plans stage events such as the annual mochi toss and balloon art enjoyable for both children and adults. Food stalls will also be set up at the venue, wrapping it in a lively atmosphere. As it takes place during a period of lingering summer heat, please do not forget heatstroke countermeasures and fully enjoy the taste of autumn and the apple festival. Admission to the tourist apple orchard is 500 yen (free for preschool children). Since parking around the venue is limited, using the free shuttle vehicle from the Wake Town Hall Saeki Office is recommended.
