2026 Autumn Grand Sumo Tour Wake Basho

About this event

Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the municipal merger, the "2026 Autumn Grand Sumo Tour Wake Basho" will be held at Wake Town Gymnasium. All Makuuchi division wrestlers, including Yokozuna and Ozeki, will gather, offering a rare chance to experience up close the power unique to a smaller venue. Doors open at 9:00 AM, with the event scheduled to finish at 14:30. Tamari S ringside seats are 17,000 yen including a commemorative cushion, and Tamari A ringside seats are 14,000 yen including a commemorative cushion. First-floor and second-floor chair seats are 10,000 yen, and wheelchair seats are 20,000 yen for two people with on-site parking included. Advance ticket sales exclusively for Wake Town residents will run on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00, and general ticket sales will begin via playguides on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 10:00.
