About this event
The 32nd Hiroshima Sports and Recreation Festival, one of Hiroshima City's largest sports events, will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, mainly at Hiroshima Regional Park (Hot Staff Field Hiroshima) and various venues across the city. This traditional event attracts more than 40,000 citizens every year to enjoy sports. On the day of the event, nine publicly open sports categories will take place, including futsal, footbaseball, mini tennis, kendo, walk rally, unicurling, run & walk, 50m sprint, and 100m time trial. In addition, a diverse lineup of programs is offered so that everyone from children to adults can enjoy, such as corners where you can experience over 20 types of new sports and group walk rallies. Furthermore, exciting stage events including magic shows, balloon art, brass band performances, and cheerleading will be held, creating a full day of thrilling experiences to watch, play, and eat. A rich variety of Hiroshima gourmet food will also be available to liven up the venue.
