Hiroshima Castle Grand Chrysanthemum Exhibition

The 'Hiroshima Castle Grand Chrysanthemum Exhibition', an autumn tradition, will be held at the Ninomaru of Hiroshima Castle. At the venue, approximately 1,200 pots of diverse chrysanthemums will be on display, including gorgeous special flower beds, giant chrysanthemums (Ogiku), Fukusuke chrysanthemums, cascading chrysanthemums (Kengaikiku), and bonsai chrysanthemums. Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the World Heritage registration of Itsukushima Shrine, this year's special flower bed is titled 'Aki no Miyajima Kiku Kesho' (Chrysanthemum Adornment of Aki's Miyajima) and will color the venue brilliantly. During the period, events such as chrysanthemum growing workshops for beginners, koto music performances, and gagaku concerts are also scheduled to be held.
