The "Autumn Green Fair 2026," held at the Hiroshima Botanical Garden, is an ideal event for spending a refreshing autumn day at the botanical garden. Admission is free during the period, and various events to engage with flowers and greenery are prepared. Flower and greenery workshops offer numerous easy-to-join programs for both children and adults, including moss ball (kokedama) workshops and container gardening experiences. In addition, participatory activities are plentiful, such as cascade walks guided by garden staff, a garden highlight rally tour, a collaboration project with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp baseball team, a flower auction, and a true-or-false quiz about plants. Furthermore, the Flower, Greenery & Music Collaboration Stage will feature musical performances across various genres to liven up the venue. Other offerings packed with fun for the whole family include photo spots, a baobab tree touching event, botanical craft workshops, a mini carnival festival corner, traditional retro games corner, and a honeybee mechanical climbing doll craft activity. The exhibition corner will showcase the Hiroshima Botanical Garden 50th Anniversary Hanging Basket Contest 2026 Exhibition, Autumn Western Orchid Exhibition, Autumn Wildflowers Exhibition, Wild Mushroom Exhibition, and more, allowing visitors to enjoy the diverse appeal of plants. In the sales area, Itsukaichi local specialty stalls, food trucks, and a flea market will also be present, adding to the festive atmosphere.
