Featured on the official Komatsushima City website, the '2026 Komatsushima Autumn Awa Odori' is an event where visitors can fully experience the charm of Awa Odori dance under the autumn sky. Starting in 2022 (Reiwa 4), various dance troupes (ren), including those affiliated with the Komatsushima City Awa Odori Promotion Association, showcase two types of dance performances: 'Nagashi-odori' (processional dancing) and 'Butai-odori' (stage dancing). Visitors can enjoy gorgeous dance performances with distinct atmospheres, and admission is free. Numerous food stalls and food trucks will be open around the venue, making it an ideal destination to visit with family and friends.
