About this event
A chance to meet rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles from around the world! Held under the theme of "Aim to be a Beetle Master!", this event takes place on the "Life and Environment Floor" of the Children's Science Museum permanent exhibition area. At this event, visitors can observe various species of beetles up close and learn about their ecology. It will be a valuable experience for summer vacation independent research projects and for children who love insects. The venue, Asutamuland Tokushima, is located in Itano Town, Itano District, Tokushima Prefecture, and is easily accessible. During the event period, the park is open until 18:00 in July and August, and is open daily in August (except August 19). In particular, August 5 (Wed), August 12 (Wed), and August 26 (Wed) are special open days. The Children's Science Museum is open until 17:30, and you can participate with a permanent exhibition admission ticket. Admission fees are 510 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschoolers. Parking is also available free of charge.
