Held at Waza no Yakata, "Water Festival & Summer Festival 2026" is an event to beat the summer heat. During the daytime, as the "Water Festival," you can get soaking wet and play to your heart's content with water guns and water balloons. Bringing your own water gun is welcome. Light meals are also available. From the evening, the "Summer Festival" begins, featuring a Ramune fast-drinking contest and a magical bubble show by bubble artist KAHORI. There is also time for everyone to dance the "Kamiita Ondo," passed down in Kamiita Town. At night, sparklers and small fireworks launched from the rooftop of Waza no Yakata will brighten the summer night sky. A children's festival with target shooting, bouncy ball scooping, and ring toss will also be held, alongside a rich selection of light foods such as shaved ice and fried chicken.
