Ehime Hunting Festival 2026

About this event

In response to the issues of intensifying damage caused by wild birds and animals as well as the declining and aging hunter population, Ehime Prefecture will host the "Ehime Hunting Festival 2026" to disseminate information about the significance of hunting and wildlife issues. This event offers diverse opportunities for learning and hands-on experiences, enjoyable not only for those interested in hunting but also for families with children. The event features a wide range of programs including hunting lectures and demonstrations, hunting simulation experiences, paid workshops for making keychains using deer antlers and gibier leather, sales of gibier gourmet food by food trucks, a rally-style game "Hunting Quiz Rally", consultation desks for obtaining a hunting license, a corner introducing female hunters, gibier introduction booths by Okayama University of Science Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Imabari Meitoku Junior College, and displays of hunting equipment. In particular, the hunting lectures require advance registration with a capacity of 100 participants (selected by lottery).
