About this event
Held in Aki City, Kochi Prefecture—the birthplace of Mitsubishi Group founder Yataro Iwasaki—'National Akinai Koshien' is a hands-on event where high school students compete in business skills. Teams from each school sell their proud local products along the shopping street and showcase their appeal. It is a competition expected to demonstrate the positive attitude of the next generation of high school students and contribute to regional revitalization. It provides a great opportunity not only for participating schools to make good memories of high school life, but also for visitors to deepen exchanges with the local community.
