The 'Kami Festival' is held in conjunction with the Autumn Grand Festival of Sugimoto Shrine (Daikoku-sama of Ino Town). Aiming to promote local specialties and revitalize shopping districts, various events themed around 'Kami (God),' 'Paper (Tosa Washi),' and 'Ginger' will unfold. Highlights include 'Paper Throwing' where paper products are tossed, promotion of the Ino Ginger Pork Highway, and a 'Craftsman Street' featuring local artisans. Furthermore, hands-on activities abound, such as a Ginger Pork Highway speed-eating contest, fresh ginger sold by weight, and handmade paper crafting (making original ema wooden plaques). It is a family-friendly event where you can experience the food culture and craftsmanship of Ino Town.
