About this event

Based on recent research findings, this exhibition provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the generation process of marine microplastics. By exhibiting actual specimens, washed-ashore debris, and long-term future dispersion simulations, it introduces the hard-to-see marine plastic issue from a researcher's perspective. The exhibition is supervised by Professor Atsuhiko Isobe of Kyushu University, a leading authority on marine plastic research. Through this exhibition, it aims to encourage many people to view the marine plastic issue as a personal concern and provide an opportunity to reconsider their daily lives and actions.
