[Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project] Serendipity of Travel: Seasonal Fruit Harvesting & Creative Danish Making with a Ukiha Local Navigator (Part 1: Kyoho Grapes)

This is an experiential event held in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture, exclusively for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Fukuoka Ukiha. At 'Nakashima Farm', a popular orchard in Ukiha City, participants harvest seasonal Kyoho grapes with their own hands. While learning about the grower's dedication and the background of fruit cultivation, participants can gain a deeper appreciation of the value of fruit through the harvesting experience. Afterwards, at 'Kawasemi Danish', enjoy making original Danishes using the harvested Kyoho grapes. Learn techniques to bring out the utmost appeal of the fruit and spend a special time crafting your own unique creation. A tea time is also provided to savor the Danish, highlighting the juicy freshness of the fruit, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing moment. This event is the 1st installment of a series designed to deliver the unique charms of the region as an 'experience', with a local navigator guiding you through Ukiha's attractions. In case of rain, instead of the Kyoho grape harvesting experience, participants can listen to a talk about the dedication to fruit cultivation, the farm's history, and the allure of seasonal fruit. Participants will also receive a Kyoho grape souvenir (equivalent to 1 kg per person) and an original tote bag.
