About this event
Held in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, the "Summer Festival Asakura" is a classic summer tradition featuring around 1,000 fireworks launched into the sky. In particular, the 10-shot barrage of 1-shaku shells, known as an Asakura specialty, is an intensely impressive highlight that vividly colors the summer night sky. Festival stalls will also line the venue, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The event begins around 17:30, and the fireworks are scheduled to start around 20:00. While on-site parking requires a fee, free parking is available around the Asakura City Hall Asakura Branch and at the Country Elevator.
