Call for Charity Karaoke Contestants

About this event

Shime Town in Fukuoka Prefecture is recruiting participants for a charity karaoke competition aimed at solving social issues and supporting people in need. This event is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the local community through singing. The event is open to people who live or work in the town. The participation fee is 1,500 yen for general participants (500 yen for junior high school students and younger) and free for Cultural Association members. The first 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis can perform up to 2 choruses. Applications are accepted from Wednesday, July 8, 2026, to Friday, August 7, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Shime Town Cultural Association Secretariat (1st floor of Shime Town Civic Center). Entry forms are distributed at the Social Education Division counter. Why not take this opportunity to brighten the community with the power of song and send warmth to people in need?
