Karatsu Drop Festival 2026 will be held for two days on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Higashinohama, Nijinomatsubara Beach in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. This festival is a one-of-a-kind event blending music, surf culture, and local culture. In a beautiful location surrounded by the sea and pine forest, visitors can enjoy live performances by great artists and delicious food. On the first day, Saturday, September 26, scheduled performers include Uchikubi Gokumon Dokokai, Kuroyume, Wednesday Campanella, Dragon Ash, Nothing's Carved In Stone, PEDRO, BONNIE PINK, Maverick Mom, Rei, and ROTTENGRAFFTY. On the second day, Sunday, September 27, a diverse lineup appears including Sakurako Ohara, GADORO, KREVA, Takao Tajima (Original Love), Dai Hirai, PES, Marasy, Mononkul, and Retroriron. DJ Yatsui Ichiro will appear on both days. Tickets are priced for adults, junior high / high school students, and elementary school students, with 2-day passes also available. Discounted tickets for Karatsu citizens and Saga Prefecture residents will also be sold.
